It occured to me the other day when I was sorting through things how precious some items are that I hold onto and how utterly not others are and still they sit side by side, until the latter gets chucked.

I found some fancy candle sticks in the basement that must have come from my great grand parents family dining table and something they must have used daily as they never had electric light, only to now sit next to a pile of old magazines.

Out went the magazines and now, newly polished on my table are some completely out of place candle sticks, and yet I am tottally happy.
