If you aren't married already, would you or do you want to get married? And if you do, how many kids do you want?


Me, i do want to get married and have kids. I just haven't found the right woman to do that with yet. If i did get married i would probably want around 4 kids. 2 boys & 2 girls.

I don't know. I think I am too young to decide. Maybe I will know when I meet someone I want to marry?

Not really have much faith in rings and papers, but never say never, right?

I would like to get married someday but not until I am in my late 20s early 30s.

I already am married. I got married when I was 21 (my wife was 20) and it was the best decision of my life. We've got 2 kids now (2 1/2 and 6 months old - both girls) and life is good.

Being married and having a family is tough though. No matter what you are expecting or think you know about it.... it's not that way. Marriage is what you make it. You've got to put in the effort.

Alli: but wouldn't you rather have a ring/papers keeping someone around? I've found that having those things in place and the difficulty of getting out has kept me with my wife through the tough times. And because we got through those tough times we have a better relationship now. If we were just living together then one of us could just walk away and we'd probably both be dating other people. Food for thought

I'm not quite sure...I do want to get married...eventually. No time soon...I'm too young to tied down in a marriage. Besides, gay marriage is illegal in most states so I'll have to wait anyway..

I would definitely like to when I'm older and at a point where I know who I want to be with for the rest of my life.
As for kids... well, I'll leave that up to God .

Yes I want to get married but i'll wait till after I finish collage and yes I want kids I want a minimum of 2 one boy and one girl But I wont have kids till I finish collage.

gamernate : Well it would be nice if marriage were in the cards for me at some point… I haven’t been successful in the relationship area and actually have been engaged twice. It would be nice to be able to settle down at some point though. With what I do for a living it’s difficult to have a relationship if the other end of the relationship isn’t willing to meet you halfway.

It’s frustrating at times because although in my case I work a busy schedule where I have at most three days a week where I’m going non-stop and the other days are either spent recouping or in most cases prepping for the next week. Not many of the women I’ve dated have been willing to understand my schedule much less the amount of dedication I put into it as I’m a believer that you have to pay your dues.

When it comes to being a writer especially a writer who works as a freelancer as I do it can be very difficult to make a steady income even if that writer is willing and has at times put 24/7 into his work as have I.

It would be nice to finally have someone who understands the struggles a writer faces and is willing to deal with a schedule.

I'm not sure if I'll ever get married. Sometimes I want to be married and sometimes I don't. I guess it depends on if I find the right guy. Someone who I can be myself with. Unfortunately, I can't have kids. I could adopt. Right now my life is fine the way it is, but nothing wrong with change either.

Annette : I agree, I mean... I feel like I want to, but I don't really know for sure. It's like I will know it when I see it, but I also might never see it.

As for kids...I would have to talk with my wife, because honestly... she is the one going to have them

I'm completely sure that I want to get married. That doesn't mean that I am going to rush into it. If I don't find anyone, then I won't get married. If I did get married then I would want 2 boys and 2 girls.

Not all marriages last, try as you might.
If a person really wants to go, they will, married or not..

But I do actually believe there is this one soulmate for everyone.
Just, it doesn't mean so much to me personally, this marriage thing.

i doubt it...all it means is if you break up she gets half your stuff, so the most id be willing to do would live together unless she signed a prenuptial

I'd say, yes, I am engaged after all...

We haven't decided on a date yet, but we do know we want to spend the rest of our lives together yada yada. You guys don't want to hear this, so I'll cut it short.
