I haz the new layout! what do you think of it? In other news, I got this layout from BNuge and just minutes after he posted this! This may be a new record of layout purchase! Anyways, what do you think of the layout?

That layout does look pretty good. I should probably check the layout store again. The one I made for myself isn't bad, but it's getting old.

pieman9 : Lol, I tried it on Internet Explorer too... I see the same thing. That's alright, I guess... it's still readable. You see, in Firefox/Google Chrome, you can see the actual background, which is a picture of Ness of Earthbound giving you a wink and a smiley face, among a blue background. It actually looks quite nice.

I put the background (when the original one doesnt show up for whatever reason) as black so hopefully it looks nicer. tell me what you think.

I enjoyed making it. I like all of the layouts I make because if I don't like them, I fix them until I do like them. This one was particularly fun.

Being able to make layouts has given me an excuse to explore the program I use and I love messing with all of the little features. My main goal with this one was for it to be able to repeat without looking ugly. I knew the middle picture would be the trickiest, so I poked around until I found a way for it to line up well and still look good.

I'm not the best coder, so I put a lot of effort into making the images look as good as I possibly can. I can also be rather meticulous so if I see the slightest flaw I will go back and fix it. I actually had to upload the images twice because the scale was wrong the first time.

the_casualty : You should set the background color to expand to 100%. I use HTML, so I can't tell you the CSS equivalent. Right now there is just blank space to the right of the picture. Even if it was a solid color it might still look better than blank space.

BNuge : ... I could do that... although it may make my layout look kinda choppy. What I could do is make the background color (black) fill 100% and then center the actual content of the post. Thanks for the suggestion.
