This is awesome news for Dreamcast fans who own an Xbox 360, Sega is releasing a "Dreamcast Collection" which will include Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5: Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing and it'll sell for only $29.99 starting February 22, 2011.

I know these 4 games are already available on the Xbox 360 arcade marketplace at $10 a peice, so you're only saving $10 here but to physically own this collection with an awesome box art is worth it in my opinion, not to mention the possibility of it being worth something someday. Plus, if this does well, expect Sega to release a few more of these with additional Dreamcast games (maybe even Shenmue???). You could also argue that a person is better off buying the actual Dreamcast games or emulating them but the benefit of this is that you have HD gameplay, achievement points, leaderboards, and a few additional features.

I may not buy this right away (don't have the money) but it's already in my Gamefly Q

That's nice to see! If my friend had a 360, I'd let him know about this. You ever think that one day they'll do the same for Sega CD (well one game in particular)?

NotJon : I think if Sega is successful with these collections, they'll do something with Sega CD and Sega Saturn.

They've already done one for the Sega Genesis called 'Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection' which is available for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and includes the following Genesis/Megadrive games:
# Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
# Alien Storm
# Altered Beast
# Beyond Oasis
# Bonanza Bros.
# Columns
# Comix Zone
# Decap Attack
# Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
# Dynamite Headdy
# Ecco the Dolphin
# Ecco: The Tides of Time
# ESWAT: City Under Siege
# Fatal Labyrinth
# Flicky
# Gain Ground
# Golden Axe
# Golden Axe II
# Golden Axe III
# Kid Chameleon
# Phantasy Star II
# Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom
# Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium
# Ristar
# Shining Force
# Shining Force II: Ancient Sealing
# Shining in the Darkness
# Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
# Sonic the Hedgehog
# Sonic the Hedgehog 2
# Sonic the Hedgehog 3
# Sonic & Knuckles
# Sonic 3D Blast
# Sonic Spinball
# Streets of Rage
# Streets of Rage 2
# Streets of Rage 3
# Super Thunder Blade
# Vectorman
# Vectorman 2

With a few extras including:
# Alien Syndrome (arcade)
# Altered Beast (arcade)
# Congo Bongo (arcade) (under original title "Tip Top" in some regions)
# Fantasy Zone (arcade)
# Golden Axe Warrior (Sega Master System)
# Phantasy Star (Sega Master System)
# Shinobi (arcade)
# Space Harrier (arcade)
# Zaxxon (arcade)

Ooh I remember some of these. Unfortunately my friend doesn't have a 360 or a PS3. He just has a Wii.

I will get this eventually. Because SEGA's collections are awesome. I hope Shenmue could get into the next one so I could play it.

I own the Genesis collection. tons of games that I like.

alexanyways : I put the Sega Genesis Collection in my Gamefly Q but I may just buy it since it goes real cheap on Amazon (at the moment anyway). Plus the collection has so many games, there's no way I'd get to them all while renting.

I remember hearing about Sega doing a dreamcast collection a few months ago and then hearing the list about a month ago. The problem with this collection is that, like you said, two of the four games are already for downloadable content. And especially when the Dreamcast is known for being a extremely good system releasing a game like Sega Bass Pro Fishing for your first launch is extremely disappointing. I'd love to see Chu Chu Rocket or Jet Grind Radio.

xfighter1138 : I agree, bad move with the Sega Bass Pro Fishing. This collection is good but based on the amount of good games the DC had, they definitely could've put even better games on there. Yeah I'd love to see Chu Chu Rocket on there, Jet Grind Radio is a good game too.

If I had an Xbox 360, I would probably get this. My friend has the Genesis collection; and I like it a lot.
