Tell me, and be honest , who'd you love to see enter Super Bowl 46 next year, or who is your favorite team? Mine is the Packers, but I would expect them to return to the Super Bowl. Tell me your thoughts, dream matches, etc. etc.

Definitely the Packers for me. I disagree with you though, I think the Packers have a great shot at getting to the Super Bowl again. They've got a ton of talent and a young team (2nd youngest in the NFL), they had 15 different players on IR who didn't play most of the season, if the Packers were good enough to get to the Super Bowl and win it without them, imagine how good they'll be when they get those players back, especially Jermichael Finley who may be the best Tight End in the entire NFL.

I can definitely see Green Bay making 2 or 3 more trips to the Super Bowl over the next 5 or 10 years, I think this is the decade of the Packers (the last decade was of the Patriots but I think their era is close to an end).

Davideo7 : It's very rare that a team who won the super bowl even makes it into the playoffs the next year, but I hope for you they do make it. My team has been the saint's since I was a kid, and I want to see them in the bowl again and not get booted by a wild card game again.

aeonarial : Here's an interesting fact, every time the Packers made it to the Super Bowl for the first time in a long time, they made it to the Super Bowl again the following year. In other words, every Super Bowl appearance was back to back with another appearance for them.

You know i have to go with the green bay pack. I have to represent my state team. If i had to choose any other team i'd like to see detroit lions or cleveland browns. Only reason, i feel sorry for those teams never making it to a superbowl yet.

I don't really follow sports enough, let alone football. But do like it. Anyway I would choose the 49ners because they are local team, I like them over Raiders I think.

The Patriots are definitely my favorite. This past season was supposed to be about rebuilding since they lost a lot of good players. They shouldn't have even made it to the playoffs, but they did. Yet another reason to love them. It's too bad the Vikings didn't appreciate Randy. Even if he's not on the team, I still like him.

Davideo7 :

If the Patriots can make it to the playoffs during a rebuilding season, then you can bet that they will win another Super Bowl in the next few seasons. Their era isn't over.

I think it could well be the Cowboys. They would have been good this year if Wade Phillips knew what he was doing. This team is talented and CAN go the distance. They were much better in the final 5 or so games =P

I don't root for anyone. I don't really care what happens. I'd probably have to go with the Jets though, just for my Grandma even though I know she stops caring about them once baseball season begins. In our house it's Baseball >>>>>>>> Football.

BNuge : Yeah Brad Childress of the Vikings was an idiot to get rid of Randy Moss. I don't believe the Patriot's era is over but I think it's coming to an end, maybe in like 3 years. Tom Brady is 33 at the moment, in 3 years he'll be 36 and I don't really see him playing beyond that so once the Patriots lose him, it may take a while for them to get comfortable with a new Quarter Back. This might not be the case, we all know what happened a few years ago when Brady was out for the season, they still did great but who knows if that'll happen again. I suppose with the best coach in the NFL, anything can happen I guess.

My favorate team is the STL Rams. I know they have been awful for about 5 years but it seems like their luck has finally changed now that they drafted Bradford. If they can just finally get a few good recievers than they will probably be above .500 next year.

My favorite team is the Steelers and yes I was upset that they lost but I recovered. As for the super bowl? I think I'll past this year. The super bowls lately haven't been all that exciting for me. BTW, the NFL should never have another super bowl at Dallas. The field was cheap which caused player injuries and fans were beaten out of their seats(but Jones made sure that the rich had seats).

NotJon : Baseball over football? Yuck.

Personally I prefer basketball over the both of them, but I really like football and can't get into baseball.

Even though they are far from the best team (give them time, they have a really young team) I would have to say that my favorite team in the NFL would be the Seattle Seahawks. When they beat the Saints this last season to get into the playoffs was the happiest I've been in a while. That was an amazing game.

I liked the Cincinnati Bengals this year just because of having Cedric Benson, Terrell Owens (my favorite WR), and Chad Ochocinco together seems like a winning combination to me. I am glad that Carson Palmer asked for a trade because I blame him for the Bengals losing season. Hopefully they either trade him or bench him, get a better quarterback, keep Terrell Owens (I'm not sure but I think he just signed a 1 year contract with them so who knows where he'll end up this coming season).
