I would battle Ritchie. Ash always puts his pride ahead of his Pokémon so I wouldn't enjoy it as much. Misty and Brock both specialize in a single type, so it could become boring. As much as I want May and Dawn to suffer for replacing Misty, I don't want to waste my time on them.

Ritchie is a smart trainer and has a good variety of Pokémon, so he would be fun to battle.
