All of the god-awful bosses which were in the Zelda CDI games. (aside from Zelda's Adventure, which aside from the fact that it has INSANE load time between screens, it would've been okay if it were a tad older. it sucked for a game in the 16 bit era( If that's the era it was in... can't remember, but oh well.

I'm going to go with the Evil Eagle from Link's awakening. I wasn't good enough with the hookshot to hit him that way, so I tried to do it with my sword alone. I had to keep retrying the battle at least ten times because I would keep getting knocked off the platform right before I was able to kill him. And when I kept going for too long, I'd lose all my hearts and have to go back into the dungeon to get more.

Uggghhhh... defintely that annoying roulette mask thing from Oracle of Ages, how is it fair to let a boss choose when it gets hurt by your attacks? It looks weird, you fight it in the sidescroller format, and there's a 25% (or perhaps less from my experience) that your attacks will even do damage.

I don't know what it's called, but that one boss in A Link to the Past where you have to use the fire rod or arrows to hurt him. But that wasn't the annoying part. It actually was the fact that those spike traps were like FREAKING EVERYWHERE.

I know this one is going to generate a bit of chatter. Look, Volvagia has a really cool design. In theory he should be a really cool boss fight. But something about playing whack-a-mole with a giant dragon didn't quite live up to expectations. A decent boss fight, but not necessarily one I'll remember in the grand scheme of Zelda moments.
