I have to agree too that was a huge twist to me. Another though was when I found out that the DARPA chief and Dr. Clark were actually Sigint and Paramedic.

Yeah, I recently replayed the entire series, and feel like I gained so much more out of it.

The writers were definitely a little bit twisted... but that's not a bad thing. Twisted has inspired a lot of the great stories in Video Gaming. Like Earthbound.
