i have two things.

1. If you've never actually gone to a Japanese ramen restaurant, you need to do so immediately. Those places make the stuff you buy at stores taste like cardboard. The big dishes with broth and fresh noodles are amazing and you can add fried chicken or gyoza in the mix. So ono!

2. Try this. Cut one side of a bag of dried ramen. Pour the flavoring into the bag and seal it. Crush up the dried ramen so the noodles are just like crumbs from a Doritos bag. Don't cook 'em, eat 'em dry with the powder. It's such a good snack.

I like roast beef or beef ramen the best. I've always wanted to try stuff in it but I'm too lazy XD. One time, I was making ramen and I forgot to put water in it, and it was also in a plastic bowl. So, it caught on fire and melted the bowl partially. XD

Personally, I'm a big fan of shrimp ramen myself. I'm also a large fan of Yakisoba noodles from Maruchan. They're soooo good!

All you people know is the instant just-add-boiling-water kind of ramen. You haven't tried real ramen until you've been to a restaurant that prepares the stuff fresh from the kitchen. Real raman has not only the noodles, but fresh vegetables, real slices of beef, etc. It's basically a giant bowl of soup.

Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that there are ramen restaurants out there and you should go and try them out.

I love Ramen , I actually ate it twice last week.
My friends mother used to make the best ramen when I was a child. I am not sure the exact recipe but it was fairly simple and I have tried to make it with random amounts of the ingredients and it worked out good.

Basically instead of serving it like soup, she would boil the noodles then strain them. Then she would put a little bit of butter onto the noodles, enough to coat them and make them sticky. The flavouring gets mixed in and coats the noodles. It was really good, but almost too salty so if you don't like salty food don't try it!

My favourite ramen flavour is either beef or shrimp. Everybody loves Raymond Ramen!

aeonarial : Well I am sure you are all aware of the Asian Sensation, Ramen. If not
this is a dried golden noodle dish that is quick, easy, and delicious.
The most widely known brand that I know about is Top Ramen. They have
many different flavors including beef and chicken.

Describing them as "a dried golden noodle dish that is quick, easy, and delicious" doesn't do ramen justice . You've gotta go to a restaurant that serves real ramen! I know that other people have already said it, but It's great. There's a big difference between ramen from a restaurant and dry store-packed ramen. Describing ramen in it's easy prepared store mode is like describing a delicious meal by how it's sold in the freezer section. Like if you really like quesadillas but all that you have had is the frozen kind and you describe a quesadilla as something that you buy in a freezer section and put in the microwave for 6 1/2 minutes. You're really missing out if all you had is Top Ramen. And there are a bunch of restaurants in America and/or outside Japan that do serve fresh ramen so don't think that you have to travel all the way to Japan to get some fresh authentic ramen. And if you live in America, remember that we are a melting pot and most authentic foreign restaurants are run by the corresponding race so the chances are that it will be someone native to the place that it originated from so don't think that your getting fake ramen just because you are in America. And if you've already had it, then this whole speech was for nothing. My favorite flavor of ramen is definitely pork, fresh, or packaged.
Oh, and to the person who said that they can't wait to live off of ramen in college try to eat different things because if you eat only ramen then you'll get sick of it and then we will all hate you and disown you for being sick of ramen.   jk *Generic lecture line ahead* Too much of a good thing is bad for you.

I love Ramen noodles. Chicken and Beef are my two favourites. However, I like to drain the water until there is around one quarter left in the pot before adding the seasoning. It really adds to the flavour rather than having it as soup. If you add chili sauce, which I do on occasion, it makes it even better.
