His heart was in the right place, but he didn't see the concept and story behind the games. I cried when he destroyed the two games, but after seeing behind the scenes, I discovered it was Top Gun, and Legend of Zelda, with stickers on it, so that made me not think of him as such a monster.

No, it's impossible to find. The games were all grounded up, buried, and covered over with cement. ET wasn't the only game, there were also copies of PacMan, other games, and unsold A2600 systems.
