So what do you think of these "Zhu Zhu Pets" toys? I think they are crap; honestly I've played with both them and the Kung Zhu ones. They're all really boring unless you spend like 912877923479348$ on their play pen thingies.

When I worked in this Packing/Shipping place around Christmas two years ago, I must have packed about 100 of those things. Insanely popular, but really are they all that fun? They make them so you have to buy the tracks or whatever so they can run around, otherwise they just go nuts in a circle.

My first thought on Zhu Zhu pets were "this must be the stupidest thing a person made" after they became popular I got one for my little cousin who is 5 what he said to me 3 days later were "how did this become cool?". If a 5 year old relies that if this toy is lame then I don't see why it is still popular.

They're basically just those little toy car things they have at mcdonalds that you roll back, then it goes forwards, except it looks like a hamster, and it goes for a bit longer. Oh, and of course, it costs way more than free. My bets friend's little sister has one, but even she thinks it's kind of dumb. I guess it's just good marketing that made people think they're popular, so people all bought them because they though that, and that made them popular.
