Being hypnotized is a hilarious experience. The guy made me do all kinds of ridiculous things. He made me and about 15 other people think that our shoes were ringing and that we needed to answer them. So I thought my shoe was ringing and I answered it and thought my mom was talking to me through the shoe. That's just one of the many things he made me do, but it was definitely one of the funniest. What about you guys? Ever been hypnotized?

I've seen one of those stage hypnosis shows at my graduation party night, and a bunch of friends and people I knew personally were up on the stage doing crazy things! I couldn't believe it, I thought for sure those things were fake... I am still a little skeptical but I can't believe they actually did it without even cracking a smile. :o

I've never been hypnotized THAT way, but I have been to hypnosis therapy and I learned relaxation techniques at a self-improvement class that is very similar to hypnosis.

A lot of people have the wrong idea of what hypnosis is. It's not a way to automatically control someone's mind by making them watch a pendulum... But that's totally wrong. It's a form of relaxation therapy. When you are relaxed, your subconscious mind is open to suggestion. You can only suggest things to them and they will act on it if they would normally do so, or if they really want to.
