People like to drive. Some people crash their vehicles when they drive. At least one of them usually feels foolish as a result of the crash. Have you ever been in any kind of car accident?


I have been in one. My truck slid off the road and got stuck in the mud. No one got hurt so there weren't any long term repercussions.

I have never been behind the wheel in any wreck, but I have had the misfortune of being a passenger in 4 different wrecks, none of which was the fault of the driver of the vehicle I was in. One had a heart attack mid-stop, not much to be done about that... Another involved a moron that felt like he had to race someone on a main street, and slammed into a SCHOOL BUS I was in of all things at an estimated 70+ mph... He's lucky his seat collapsed, or he would have lost that empty round object... The third forgot what the brakes were, and the fourth floored it out of a stop sign and into the vehicle I was in when we were on a through street (no stop sign). I think that last one was buzzed at the time, but they tested my mom and not him, because HE didn't have to go to the hospital. That... was not cool. Not cool at all. On the bright side though, apart from the guy that had a heart attack, no one died in these wrecks.

No. My parents are very careful drivers, always making sure they're in the safe zone. My brothers............not so much

I've been in a few minor car crashes, but nothing really serious.

I've been in like 7 or 8 vehicle wrecks but I was the driver in only one. The one that I was driving was when me and my cousin and his girlfriend was going to meet are friends at a party. Here is some pictures of my truck wreck

I got close about three months ago. Me and my friend were driving downtown and this idiot comes out of nowhere and almost sideswipes us.

Thankfully my friend plays way too much Grand Theft Auto and swerved into oncoming traffic safely. No one got hurt.

I've been close when behind the wheel, but none yet *knock on wood*. I have been in the passenger seat for two wrecks, the second one my seatbelt jammed as the car hit us and it really hurt my chest.

A few. I was hit by a car while on a bike... it technically counts as a car accident. Broke a leg, guy got off scott free because the police were racist against whites and refused to hear my side of the story... I came out of a doublewide driveway and he hit me, he said I came out from between two parked cars. Guess what the police report said? Also asked him how to spell my name. Still bitter about that.

When I was 19 I was in the back seat when my friend's tire blew out on a turn, the wheel dropped bent and we lost control. Barely missed a tree, clipped a car in a driveway and crashed into a curb across the street. That what scary, really scary.

Backed into a car in my blind spot in a parking garage. Mild damage to him, but he was cool and we settled it privately. Had a car hit mine while I was not in it twice. First time I needed my bumper replaced and trunk popped back out. Second time dinged my driver door and I just left it... I figure if I fix it that the car would just get hit again and totaled.

Had a near accident right after I got my car. Guy made a left turn in front of me while I was in the intersection and then slammed on the brakes when he finally saw me. I swerved in front of him, barely clearing him and the signal post on the corner, swerved back into the lane, lost control and went into oncoming lanes (it was late, no cars) regained control and kept going. Shock wore off five minutes later and I was a nervous wreck.

My fiance had his first accident the other day, similar to my near one. Stupid lady turned right in front of him, but at a smaller distance and did not stop. He swerved and slammed on the brake and we barely, and I do mean barely clipped her bumper. We each had scratches on the car but it was very minor. They exchanged phone numbers but we have heard nothing, which isn't surprising because it was 100% her fault.

I've been in a terrifying car crash leaving a scar on my face...No worries, my face was repaired during plastic surgery.

It was a rainy day in Pennsylvania...a friend and I were driving from a party...my friend for some stupid reason felt the need to speed on a road for no apparent reason....as a result, the car tumbled a few times and eventually hit a tree. We both survived....he was in critical condition but managed to live...and I was just temporarily disfigured. I'm thankful to be alive....

A little advice...Don't drive fast in rainy weather!

Just once- It was a minor fender bender. I was about 8 at the time, and some person in front of me stopped suddenly, and my mom freaked out and tried to stop, but the car bumped the other car anyway. 
Nobody was injured!

I say I was in the perfect accident for several reasons. 1) (And this one ought to be considered the most important.) I was going to be driving my youngest sister, 5 years old at the time, but my mom felt something was wrong and decided to drive her out instead. 2) The accident took place on a ramp going from one major highway to another. The scenario ended up with me rear-ending the guy in front of me at 5 mph --everything better than an accident at 55 mph. 3) Because of the slow speed, my airbags did not deploy. 4) I hit the trailer hitch of the pick up in front of me, so only my vehicle sustained damage --body damage and a cracked headlight. 5) The driver of the other vehicle was kind and honest. For he could have done, as I later heard, he could have faked an injury and defraud me. 5) Because of the preceding reasons, I did not have to get the insurance company involved. No premium hikes! I do not thank God enough for all this.

I was never in a car accident. Sometimes a car would bump into mine but nothing serious happens.

Only a minor one where a car sideswiped my mom's van at night. I wasn't hurt, but it was pretty scary. (I was only about seven years old).

I have actually. It was really scary but we were not injured all that bad. I just had a lot of cuts and he just bruised his face. We were lucky because he hit a car going 65 MPH. He was speeding and the car was stopped. We could have got pretty messed up.

Actually, I have never been in a car accident, ever. Its a miracle considering that so many people get in a car accident every day, its only a matter of time for me.

I've gotten hit by a car (lol i was fine; just a scratch) 
I was riding my bike; it was snowing/raining and a car was pulling out of an alley- blindspot- so neither of us saw each other. Luckily the driver was pulling out slowly-- Thank God!! 

yeah like several times but it wasn't a series car accident it more like just a bump by another driver those idiots.

Yes 2-3 times that I can immediately remember.

Never too serious though. Almost got cut by glass once though.

Luckily, I never was in a car accident before. Its kind of a relief I live in an area where not many accidents happen. If I was in a bigger city...that would be another story.
