I don't mean by accident, as in, oh I accidentially ate some of the paper my burger was wrapped in, I mean anything you used to regularly eat that was not meant to be eaten?

my sister used to chew plastic, but she did spit it out.

I found out I had an uncle that used to occassionally have a lick of chalk, to settle his stomach so he claimed.

my grandfather used to drink a drink with gold in it, although the amounts were so small it does not and could not anyway as gold is inert hurt you.

so if you have any ideas please post them here.

I've never done it myself, but I had a friend in elementary school who loved to eat glue. I never understood why, but he said it tasted good. I thought he was nuts. Still do.

I used to eat BB's. The ones that come in the little plastic bags. when I was around 10 or 11 I would eat them. I also ate marbles, and once got a coin stuck in my throat that had to be surgicly removed. Among countless other things.
