It's got to be comedy for me. If it's not funny, it's not worth reading as far as I'm concerned. If it's good, I guess I can handle action ones too even without the comedy, but the humor is the most important part to me. Not having that is like having pizza without cheese.

I really don't have a favorite. It depends on what I want right then. Honestly, just about everything mentioned, minus Pokemon and Vampires. I put a vote in for comedy. I like action/adventure and fantasy as well. I really don't like school life that much unless it has some comedy. I don't really like slice of life unless it has school life and comedy in it. Oh, and I detest horror. I don't like anything that will give me nightmares about grotesque creatures. The only 2 horror series I've ever liked are xxxHolic and Bakemonogatari. xxxHolic is for 13+ and really is almost never scary, and Bakemonogatari is usually not even listed as horror on the anime sites I visit but it refered to itself that way in one of it's commercials that was included in the episode I watched.

I have read a bit of one magic one, Negi-Uma, and i read one mystery one; the one about the little boy... maybe one manga worth. but Naruto... I am up to date on it, and am waiting for Issue fifty-six to come out in May... oh... I can not wait.... I hate cliff hangers
