Sorry for necroposting, I just thought this would be an interesting topic.  

I live in Canada, and I've never went farther out west than Quebec and I've only been in Maine for 6 hours one time when I was young.  So I am pretty ignorant about what other places really look like. I do look at a lot of travel pictures and brochures and wonder...  Being a University student I just don't have the money nor can I afford to spare the time to spend.  I just don't know how some of my friends can actually travel without any worries.  I'd mostly want to go to Asia for studying and Africa for fun.  Europe doesn't really appeal to me for some reason.

Yes I have been to north America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the other 3 I have not been to. I wonder if anybody here has been to Antarctica. That would be cool. the part i hate the most about going to these contenints  though is airplanes, i also hate the ear pressure and have to embaress myself by putting cups on the side of my ears.
