FF7 hands down!!!!!!! I loved Crisis core too and Cloud Strife and Zack Fair are the awesomest FF characters ever made! I LOVED the storyline and the music was amazing! FF7 FTW!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone can agree that FFVII had overall likeability, and FFVI had the the only villian in the series that actually ended the world, and from 9 on down, Sqeenix was just pulling worlds and storylines and characters out of its ass...........

But 2 magical words are forever etched in me about FFVIII.......

My favourite Final Fantasy would be IV (II in the US).

I really want to say VII but I can't really because I've never had a chance to play it .

Final fantasy 7 seven was the best no question stunning music great characters awesome gameplay great variety of locations plus the knights of the round and onmislash is just great. I also love 8 as my second favourite but the battle system was clumsy as drawing magic was tedious and you needed lot's too be really powerful plus enemy's leveling us as you do was not a great idea.

Final Fantasy VII is the greatest, not to sound too typical, but hey, it is. Sephiroth is by far the greatest of ALL villains... in every single Final Fantasy! Even the ones not listed here. Cloud Strife is, again, the greatest protagonist as well... in my opinion anyway, but that can be argued, Sephiroth however cannot. The supporting cast was highly entertaining as well, but then again they always are in Final Fantasy. And ofcourse, the story.... I dont have to say a thing about that because you all know very well. What else is there to say? The music is absolutely terrific, flawless in my eyes.... and I don't know what else to say... lol FF7 all the way.... a close second for me would be Tactics, but thats not listed here... if I had to pick one from here for a second.... well, that would be hard for me lol I love ff8, 9, and 10...

Tactics is my favorite FF game.. the FF6 because of the diverse character cast, well rounded storyline, and I love RPGs with hidden characters. FF7 was a great game with very addictive minigames and plenty of game time but is third for me.

I loved every Final Fantasy game. FF7 is definitely one of the best, but to me, 7 and 8 (as well as 13) were a little to "final" and not enough "fantasy". in Don't get me wrong, 7 is in my top 3 and was a massive achievement many ways. I'm just old school with the dragon slaying, I guess. Heh. I played 11 for almost 6 years, and did everything but finish upgrading a Relic weapon. I ended up voting for 9 here, but only because Dissidia wasn't listed! Ha ha! I'm super-excited about Dissidia 012 coming out, and can't wait until FF14 is released for the PS3.

I enjoyed Final Fantasy X the most because of the unique side-quests for the ultimate weapons and secret aeons plus the hours of leveling you have to do to max out your sphere grid for everyone to make you look like a bad ass . Not much else to say except it's awesome!!! I did get annoyed playing Blitz Ball for hours and hours just for Wakka's.. um I think upgrade thing for his weapon or it might have been his ultimate weapon I don't remember.
