Jokes of, "Look at my iPad Nano!" as people held up iPhones, flew around as talk of the iPad began. What did this large flat tablet have, that the iPhone did not have? The iPad blew this talk away. With a gorgeous HD screen and a touch screen that enables you to do anything you could on a computer and more, connecting to the internet could never be easier with the option of 3G connection or Wi-fi. And once you are connected you can browse the internet, download over 200,000 apps, and stay in touch with friends. Short battery power was always a concern for iPhone users but the iPad fixes this with a battery that can last 10 hours on a single charge. I didn't think that the iPad would change enough to be a major improvement over the iPhone, but the iPad impresses. If you have a chance, I would seriously consider buying this product.

The iPad. Another useless iProduct that iWillneverbuy.

I dislike the iPad, it's basically a laptop on a flatscreen TV. The only way I would buy it is if it was slightly more easy to lug around.

Hello, this isn't rocket science, I can't fit an iPad in my back pocket. I can stick it up my butt and it's fitting because it's a load of crap.

One thing I really dislike is the interface, I'll stick to my laptop. Sure it's not touch screen, but for some reason I never connected with the iPad. I tried my friends out and just asked if he had a fork I could castrate myself with.

I may be biased (I tend to dislike anything by Apple anyway), but this is a new low for the company. It's just a bigger more expensive iPhone without any real appeal to someone like me, who would rather just use his laptop.

However, I will say one thing. It does have an interesting name, and that is about all I will give this horrendous appliance for the time being.

Quite frankly the ipad seems to be the perfect hybrid. Its like a cross between a netbook and an ipod. its the new do anything gadget. Whats really astonishing is that they gave this miraculous machine a wonderful HD touchscreen to boot. Its like having the complete swiss army knife of technology and the pinnacle of modern engineering . Its capable of being incredibly handy as even a full laptop or even a netbook isnt quite as compact. People that enjoy having their ipad so much that they cant stop will br relieved when they discover the immense battery life. Remember that magical moment when you discovered TV, radio, and Computer? I dare say when yyou first pick up an ipad, that moment will be better than all of them combined! A best buy hands down

When I first heard the Apple's announcement of the iPad, the first words out of my mouth were these: "Are you serious?" It seemed like just a pointless gimmick, another one of Apple's attempts to make more and more money. I mean, what could it do that an iPod touch or an iPhone couldn't? It was just bigger, and took up more space. I maintained this opinion for several months, until one fateful day..

I had gone to the mall with my family, and we happened to stumble across an Apple store. Me, being the tech lover that I am, wanted to go in and check out all of the cool gadgets. I saw the iPad, and began to play around with it, trying to find out what made it so special. It was love at first sight. Using Apple's now world renowned tablet computer, well... it felt like magic. It was so simple to use. I felt like there was a world of technology, information, and wonder right at my fingertips. Needless to say, it was an insta-buy.

I could now just slip the tablet into my backpack, open it up, and I could do all of the things I did on my computer, except 10 times easier, 10 times faster, and the equpiment is about one 10th the size of my laptop. It never overheated or got hot in my lap, it never shut itself down to force updates that I didn't want in the first place, it never took 15 minutes to boot up... It was like all of the extra, unwanted, burdens of the laptop just fell away, and left in it's place was a beautiful, sleek iPad. The battery life was so long, I have never found myself in need of a charger since I bought it almost a year ago.

Since it was so thin, so light, so simple, I often felt like the hardware itself had melted away and I was just alone with my applications. And the applications, too, were more beautiful then ever, displayed on the perfect high-definition screen. I could access them with a single touch, using the most user-friendly interface I've ever laid eyes on. The store had accumulated such a large, vast marketplace of everything from games, to tools for handling business.

But now, I'm rambling. I think you see my point. The iPad wins on all levels- it's perfected all aspects; hardware, software, etc. Thanks to the iPad, I've successfully been converted to a Windows/Microsoft/PC junkie, into a 100% Apple-fan. This is a gadget that has been sent from the heavens, and into my lap. I am an iPad junkie, and I am overwhelmingly proud to say so!
