Oh boy, that's a very hard thing to say, because I honestly don't know how I would act if that happened to me. But I can assume what I would tr to do.

First of all, I would try to remain calm. Just like any other serious situation, remaining calm gets things done faster and more carefully. Then I would try to calm down anyone that MAY be in the elevator with me. I'd also try to use the elevator phone, if they have one to see if there is anyone in maintenance working on the situation. If not, I'd use my cell phone, if I get a signal, and call 911 and let them know where we're at and if they can help us get out.

I think the real thing I could do is hold it until the Elevator is fixed. When it's fixed, I make a mad dash out of the Elevator and head to the restroom.

I've pried open the doors in an elevator before, so I'm definitely not peeing anywhere near that door.  The parts just inside the metal look like giant motherboards on older ones.  I'd look for ways out (some don't have service hatches at the top), then use the corner farthest away from them.  I'm not looking to climb around an elevator shaft when I have to use the bathroom.
