Some people are very strict Christians the believe that God made every thing just appear out of know where, and then there are the Science people who believe in the Big Bang theory and all of that. My believe is that God did make every thing, just by using the "Big Band theory". So when He said "Let there be light" the sun and the stars all stars all started to from, and so on. I have very little proof in this, but I have this God can do anything, so He could just speed up the billions of year to more like 7 days. It all makes sense to me that way, does this make sense to anybody else?

Absolutely, God isn't limited by time -- if he wanted to create everything in a literal 7 days, then he could have. At least for me, the way in which he created everything, whether he needed a big bang or not, is irrelevant when I put into perspective that he spoke everything into existence.

Although I think that to ponder his methods of creation might be important to some, I think that to say he needed to have done it a certain way is limiting him because he didn't go into detail in the Bible as to how he created the angels; all he would of had to say is "Let Us make angels," and there would be angels.

Heh--yeah, I agree with the concept... (we're on the same level here) not saying that you have the mindset that he 'needed', just that some people do think that (go figure?). I think that the key word of interpretation here is "want." God wanted to create: and so he did; although doctrinal differences between Christians concerning this 'young earth vs old earth', sometimes will cause division instead of unity.

I think the bottom line is: he is God so he's infinite, which is a good faith to have .
