I really don't use them a whole lot, the only ones I really use are Excel and Powerpoint. Otherwise, the others can be replaced by another, better (free) program.

I usually use Word for essays and stuff (lots of writing in college, soon I'll switch my major to English so even more). Powerpoint I too use, but to a lesser extent. I don't really have much of a use for Excel. But I agree, there are plenty of free alternatives for each program.

It's more like meh for me. I like Excel a bit more than the others but mainly because I "drew" a scene from the first zelda game using the fill in color thing. I'll get a screeny of it tomorrow (I did it in Excel class at school >.>).

I love Microsoft Office. I use Word for everything I write (and I'm in college so I have to write a lot). I don't use Excel as much simply because I don't have a use for it. If I have to make a presentation I always use PowerPoint. I love using all of the transitions and animations because it just looks good. I have used OneNote when i don't have a printer available. I haven't used any of the other ones.

I only use word, have not used it in years though... now I just use notepad++
