I think for me it was this game called Raze's Hell for Xbox. It had a good concept but I personally think it was pretty poorly executed, you literally need to cheat to get infinite health or else a certain level is literally impossible to beat. The second one I played (and first really good one) was Halo: Combat Evolved.

Id like to start off by saying what an awesome topic!! The first M game I ever played was in 2003, and its was grand theft auto: vice city. I thought it was AWESOME because you just got to shoot a bunch of people and basically do whatever you want, and id never had that much freedom in any other game.

I played GTA and Halo by a friend's house sometime around 5th or 6th grade. I had GTA 3 and Vice City (but I lent them to my friend for exactly 100 years). I also own Liberty City Stories for the PSP. Honestly, I didn't enjoy them that much. I like games that are actually games. I don't need blood and all of that other nonsense.

I remember being very young and my uncle showed me a game on his PC where you could blow people into bloody chunks of meat using a whole bunch of different guns. My favorite was the the rocket launcher... x) It was a pretty old game and I totally forget what it's called, but it was pretty graphic at the time - I'm not sure of the rating, but it's the first memory of a gory/graphic game that I have so I'll go with that.
