I would say world peace is possible. Anything is possible. Now, if it is probable is another question altogether. I would say that it isn't probable and pretty much never will be probable. The world has pretty much always been in conflict. Someone always has to try and force someone's ideology down someone's throat. It just goes in rotation with who is the world power at the time.
Besides, there are too many factors involved to make world peace an easily achievable, or even permanent goal. The views of the country change over time, with who is running it, and what the situations are like. If you manage to achieve world peace for a given year, who is to say next year things won't go to hell and everything will be back to the way it was?

World peace I believe is not possible. There will always be someone fighting over religion, other personal beliefs, then has time goes on...they will fight more and more over natural resources. It is a nice dream to believe that it can exists, but humans are just not wired that way. Conflict is something that is inevitable.

With just plants as a life form, everything can look naturally beautiful, and there won't be any wars or aything. They won't need to attack each other, for more than obvious reasons.

Since this objective is virtually impossible to achieve, I'm going to say that world peace is not attainable through natural methods. A mass hypnosis could do it though.

No. Most of the time it is difficult to keep household peace.  Even if there was no war, there would still be crime.  There would still be crazy people who attack innocent civilians. There would still be muggers.  There would still be bank robbers. The police would still fight crime. I would be amazed if there ever was state wide peace.

As a human race I don't think it is possible to have peace.  We are all flawed in the way that some of us just don't play nice with others.   There will always be an argument, a group above the rest; those groups that feel they are better than others, and those that just out preform.   Peace is just an ideal that mankind strives for, but its in our nature to have an argument, and arguments lead to worse things.   I hope that peace could atleast last for a small time frame but I don't see us being peaceful for a long time; someone will always be looking for a fight
