Then they start a war, and... blah, blah, blah. Also, there are some psychos out there (like Hitler) that try to take over the world and stuff. And also, society has come to a point where we wouldn't be able to go back anyways; it's just going to get worse down the road. America is already at war with the Taliban, N. and S. Korea are about to explode, and Egypt/Isreal are heating up. I see a possible World War 3.

I also don't think that world peace is possible because there are a lot of people who have been mislead to hate everyone except there people, and those people might end up like Hitler and start a war for no reason. Plus, if one nation refuses to make peace, the other nations could get angry and start a war themselves, which in turn would cause everyone to hate everyone again. I do think, however, that we can at least agree to share resources with each other, and let people go into other countries. People shouldn't judge other people because of stupid decisions there government made.

Human nature will never allow world peace. We are inherently greedy, and while this has ensured our survival in the past it will not serve us well in this endeavor. However, world peace remains as the ultimate goal and it is good for us to continue to strive for it anyway, but in small ways such as acts of kindness and willingness to listen to other points of view. There are people that despite great differences can get along, and if all people could do that then maybe we have a shot... but the probability of that happening is greater than the chances of winning the lottery.

So yeah, a lofty goal that we should strive for, but it really has little chance of ever happening. You know, unless we get invaded by hostile aliens or something.
