Lots of people fought back, saying it's a "kids show, and that the creators would never make it that way". So? It's a theory, it's not really meant to be true. It's a psychologists way of looking of things. It would be a great college report. Just because somebody wasted a week writing it doesn't mean that you need to disown it. the_casualty : It is sort of suppose to be an anime, so it can be dark, but knowing 4Kids it will most likely be edited out, with the series ending when he finally beats the Elite4, instead of a few more seasons though him waking up.

PHHHHBT. i dont really care about the pokemon series that much........the games are beast but the show is junk. It still is a very well written article dont get me wrong, but its not real, mostly because being in a coma for at least 4 years makes no sense.

I'm sorry. It was definitely an interesting article, but it was utter rubbish cooked up by someone who has no sense of innocence so they try to take innocence away from a great story like Pokemon.

...wow. That was a wonderful article. It totally changed my view of the Pokemon world, and even made me a little sad. Which brings to the question: what if Pokemon really just is Ash's thoughts? What if all the Pokemon, people, places, trading, battles, conversations, everything was just inside Ash's mind as he was slowly dieing? That would mean that this entire franchise was simply a thought, an imagination. I mean, I know it's just a game, but, hypothetically, think about it. Anyway, amazing article.
