After I heard about it, for the longest time I wouldn't watch it because I thought I would have a seizure. Finally, I watched that clip, and I was shocked at the amount of flashing lights that they put in it.

I can see why they banned it. The downside is that this episode is referenced every time someone wonders why Porygon has never been in the anime except for the occasional "Who's that Pokemon?"

They should allow Porygon to be in an episode somehow. Maybe just throw it in as a guest character's Pokemon used in a battle.

They also could have released this episode and just drawn over that area in solid blue or something like that. People might question it, but it's better than watching a subbed version.

If you ever get a chance to watch the full episode, it wasn't entirely Pikachu's fault. The missiles came from a third group (it wasn't a Pokemon or Team Rocket). Pikachu vs. Porygon could actually be an interesting fight... off to Pokemon Red to level up a Pikachu and a Porygon, then make them fight in Stadium (both on cartridges).

Well at least there was a legitimate reason for banning this episode, unlike the Dratini episode. Seriously, they banned that episode because the guy pointed a pistol at Ash. But then in the episode where Ash gets Squirtle, three people point three bigger guns at him. *facepalm*

But I digress. Yeah I definitely understand why they banned it. But I guess they could have just put a warning at the beginning of the episode saying 'This episode may cause seizures'. But you never know. They may not have been allowed to do that.

I didn't realize the purpose of this thread after watching the video. Then I read it over again and noticed people had seizures from the flashing lights in the Pokemon clip...although that is sad, it didn't affect me at all (The flashing lights). People in Japan must be color blind or something...that's a lot of seizures and hospitalizations due to 3 seconds of flashing lights.
