I used to be a big fan of SciFi and Graphic novels, but at this point the books that I read are pretty much all non-fiction. Not really sure why that is. I guess I just prefer movies for the fantasy and Sci-fi type stuff. -------------------- |

I know that manga and graphic novels are a medium, but their styling and content is so different from plaintext that I feel they deserve a separate category. I also didn't feel like doing each subgenre of those, it would have taken a while to finish.

Fantasy and Science Fiction are my two favorite. Brian Jacques does the best fantasy books and Ender's Game is the best Sci Fi book I've read in a long time.

Fantasy is my first, as I began reading with fantasy books, with science fiction and horror behind. I'm pretty good with science fiction as long as they don't get too hard. I'm not reading equations for fun. Also with horror, my experience extends to Stephen King. He is terrific no matter what others may say and the Dark Tower series is just the best. I understood the ending but it was a kick in the gut.
