When I was super young, I had a 'crush' on one of my male cousins just because I thought he was so hip and fun to hang out with.  When I use the word crush though, it must be taken lightly.  I just liked him very much, and honestly it kind of disgusts me that I felt that way.  I understand that I might have been too young to realize there is a limit to admiration, but still...*shudders*

I will just say i've thought that some of my female cousins were attractive, and some that I'm only related to because of my stepfather.   I never really thought of dating any of them, and i hope I haven't.  I am not interested in having that type of relationship, but for some people it just happens.  It might be morally wrong to some but to others its just the way life is.   It's a little less disturbing as parents and children in romantic relationships or brother and sister in one

I unknowingly dated my 3rd cousin for 3 months, nothing sexual ever happened but we did make out a lot.
I never brought him around my family and vice versa so we never realized it.  Then my aunt (who's 5 months older than me) told me i should bring him to a wedding the family was going to and i should introduce him then but when i asked he said he had a wedding to go to that day too.  I didn't think much of it but when we showed up bam there he was, i went to talk to him and he came to sit near me.  Next thing you know he saying hi to my aunts uncles and grandparents and that's when we found out the horrible truth.  Needless to say we called it off and never talk about it the only people that know are me him and my aunt.  Extended family functions are now really awkward.

As for the moral or ethical issues involved, I guess I don't really see a problem if you don't see a problem, but I can't say that I'd feel comfortable doing it. It doesn't gross me out, like some people are grossed out by it.

I have not done that, mainly because all of my cousins are males.

I know a few friends who have told me about a few experiences with it, and they've learned a lot from it. I wouldn't suggest persuing them because of the deformities that could happen in the future.

Well this is an interesting topic to say the least, I've personally never dated/fancied a blood relative and I don't think I ever actually could. On another note, I wouldn't judge someone because of their choices to do so. Yes it would be a little strange for it to actually happen in my eyes, but who am I to tell others who they can and can not love. To each their own. Now that I've said that, I don't think blood relatives should have children together, unless they are adopting. For many reasons of course. ..I could add a few other things here best it's probably best I don't, so I will leave it at that.
