It's important for Christians to read the Bible consistently and go through the whole thing multiple times in your life. It does not matter how fast your complete the Bible or how much you remember in one reading. What matters is that one continuously dwells in God's Word. There are times that one might miss something that they never saw before.

There are different ways and plans that Christians have to read through the Bible. I used to read it in Chronological order, starting from the Old Testament to the New Testament, now I'm trying to read through the Bible in a 90 day plan.

So how do your read through your Bible, do you have a structured plan? or you just read it through randomly everyday? Share why your way would be suitable for you or if it is a troubling way to read the Bible.

Initially I read through Revelation, then John, then the rest of the NT starting at Matthew in order until I got back to Revelation. So then I read the OT in order from Genesis to Malachi. Currently reading through the NT again, basically one to two chapters per day, while each day I'll read a chapter from Proverbs and one to two chapters from Psalms.

I almost always just read front to back.

I do remember a couple years back I decided to read it in 1 year so I figured out how many pages it would take to read and read that much each day. I think I gave myself a few extra days based on the math just in case because of the difference between doing say 4 or 5 pages per day.... I quite enjoyed myself. I had never read the Bible from front to back before that time.

I've read it a few times, and as far as I remember, I read it in chronological order, each time.
I usually follow the chronological order, whenever I read books, that contain historical events. I'm just used to this way.

I generally start at Genesis and work my way through to the Apocalypse. I also try for a minimum of 5 chapters per day. Actually, even though I go front to back, my reading scheme is kinda complicated, what with minimum chapters, book divisions, etc.

I usually read the events that interest me first, or sometimes just do it chronologically. I like the Bible even though I don't really consider myself Catholic (I don't really consider myself any religion)

I pick and choose. I haven't really read every bit of the Bible, and yet there are a few passages I've read too many times to count. It's not really random, so much as which story I'm in the mood for, or which ones I like best. Psalms and Proverbs are always my favorites.
