I just wasted a dollar on a screwdriver, it broke straight away and the guy replaced it with another. Lesson learnt!

yes embarrasingly I did get it from the dollar store, it came with 6 bits and a torch and in the packet it looked fantastic, I don't normally bother with such things as packaging, so in the shop I handed back the obligatory plastic bag and packet it came in, ready to put the screwdriver in my handbag, when I noticed the handle was cracked and we had to open another one to find out if it was so.

I thought how many other Vizzed readers have had a smilar experience to me on this? That they thought they were getting a good thing but it turned out to be a total waste of money, come to think it of it, rather like my last boyfriend, I don't want no scrubs.

I once wasted my money buying one of my favorite sonic games ever, and also said to be the best one, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, for the GameCube. When I had bought it, I thought it was a great buy, but when I tried it out, I quickly found out it was garbage. Later on I returned it (Had to get $2.00 less due to the cheapskates at GameStop .) and got Sonic Adventure DX instead.... i can say that it was half win and half waste of money/rip off.

I can think of one, getting cheated by buying manual water at 7/11 (2 dollars for water, I did not know the stock price so when my Mum told me I got cheated I was like " :O" ).

I also wasted money on pirated video games when I was young, I mean at 5 years old and buying from Malaysia, how should I know the game won't work on a normal machine ?

Cyprian : I wasted money on them too, first lot 'died' (were they ever alive?) and the second lot were so small I thought they were dust and died a short time after too and I ws so sad as I love animals and followed the instructions exactly.

That was a couple years ago, and that's both why I considered buying it, and saying no as well. I ended up not getting them, just in case they would be a waste, and I already had a knife anyways, which although it was lost, turned up later, and works very well.

I once bought an ethernet cable testing kit from eBay for cheap.
Turns out it didnt work properly so I lodged a paypal dispute and got most of my money back since I wanted to keep the other tools that came with it.
My own fault really for being cheap and getting something from dodgey chinese eBayers
So in the end I suppose it wasnt so much of a waste of money, more of time.
