Since it's getting to cold to run outside, I was thinking about signing up to Snap Fitness for the next 3 or 4 months and was wondering if anyone else has worked out there before and how your experience was and if it's worth paying $35 a month for it (plus the $70 sign up fee).

I have never gone to a gym, seeing as it really doesn't get that cold here. I have heard over all not favorable reviews. I would say Golds is better.

Davideo7 : I would recommend snap fitness then. When it comes to treadmills for running they always break. The only quality ones are like a couple thousand bucks. That in turn is way cheaper to go to snap.

septembern : I can't do 20 MPH very long though, maybe a quarter of a mile at most during my prime (which was 6 months ago, haven't ran a lot in a few months now though). I could probably train myself to do the 800 going 20 MPH the whole time but anything longer would take a ton of training. I mean if I had the time and was serious enough about it, I could probably do a mile in 3:30 - 4:00 minutes which would easily qualify me for the Olympics and might possibly be a world record as well but like I said, would require a TON of time and commitment which I definitely don't have.

I've decided that I'm to poor to sign up to snap fitness, therefore I shall continue my running during the cold winter months - thankfully I've got a face mask which warms up the air before it hits my lungs.
