I have all the albums of Pink Floyd (many are on my computer, but I do have Dark Side Of The Moon, The Wall, The Final Cut, and Atom Heart Mother on CD), all the albums of Led Zeppelin (all on CD/vinyl), all the albums of Iron Maiden (only about 4 are on my computer, the rest I own on CD), and all the albums of AC/DC (all on CD).

The only band that I've bothered collecting everything from is Stolen Babies. Albeit they only have one full cd out, but I've managed to get the stuff they had made before they were Stolen Babies and all their EP's and even a song off their newer album which isn't out yet. I always feel that if an artist only has one good song, then why bother? I am a person who values albums and artists more than mere songs. That being said, I have all three studio albums of the band Mr. Bungle. They have some demos and stuff, but, those mostly contain old versions of stuff off their debut album, plus, they're hard as Hell to find.

Actually I like Death Magnetic, it is a return to earlier styles of their music. Not a 100% return, but I enjoyed it a lot and I know that a lot of my friends enjoyed it enough that they said they were no longer ashamed to be Metallica fans. I am waiting for Manson to come out with an album that makes me feel that way.

Elara : I was never ashamed to be a Metallica fan. I wore my band shirts proudly when I was young. Death Magnetic seems too much like a sign of defeat from the band. To me, it sounds like they couldn't add anything to their sound so they just decide to rehash the old stuff the best they could. Besides, I fell in love with the 80s albums; that's where my admiration for them lies. The Black Album (Metallica) and Load I actually enjoyed too. ReLoad was just too much. I actually didn't mind St. Anger. I mean, the lyrics were some of the weakest (ReLoad's were super weak) but I felt the garage-vibe and trash-can-drums painted a portrait of the band in its current state. The lack of guitar solos didn't bother me one bit, just the lyrics (and I think they kinda copy and pasted a lot of it). "Some Kind of Monster" is a great song regardless.

Metallica is the only band I can think of where I actually wanted to get all their albums.
