I have about 12,000 games that need to be tested out so I'm looking to hire 6 people, that'd be 2000 games per a person.

Here's what you'll be doing:
-You play the game for about 20 seconds to test it out to see if it works
-You than edit the game page saying whether they game worked fine or if it had any errors
-You than rename the game (the games currently need to be renamed)

Here's what you'll get:
-An RGR staff position, tons of benefits to that
-You'll earn 25 Viz per a game as you go along (which would be 50,000 Viz once you're done)
-You'll receive a bonus 25,000 Viz upon completion
-You'll get a bonus US $20 if you can finish the job within a week

Here's what's required:
-You MUST be serious about this, if you fail or give up, you'll be stripped all of your trust points and possibly Viz
-You must be able to finish this task within 2 weeks
-You must be able to commit up to 30 hours into this over the course of 2 weeks
-Some games may be adult games so you must be able to tolerate that (this is out of my control, some adult games got mixed within the batch but I don't plan on keeping them in the RGR and since we don't know which are adult games, you'd be testing out a game that could possibly be an adult game without knowing it)

Additional information:
-The games are very small, around 5 - 200 KB each
-Games will be tested in a Java emulator

Let me do the math

2000 X 20 = 40000

40000 secs = 40000 divide by 60 = 666.66666666666666666666667 (I know weird number) mins.

667 mins is about 11 hours.

it is actually around 11 hours per person which is not as long as 30 like you said but with clicking, downloading and stuff it will add up to around 13 - 17 hours, I might rest for like 30 mins, but I will time myself, whichever I will have enough time, or hopefully will.

Time after school each day: 3 -7 PM = 4 hours

4 hours x 10 (5 days + 5 days) = 40 hours.

if want to do within a week = 4X5 = 20 (with about 4-7 hours from weekends)

I got more then enough time , I even showed the math although it looks like spam to prove to you.

I am also very serious and I am willing be doing this for free (meaning no real money, Viz is still something you can give me) but if you like to pay me I am willing to accept but instead of 25 US dollers I want 25 US dollers worth of Steam games (you can gift them online and digitally), if you can get me that, otherwise we can think of something.

Even though I am young I can handle adult games, I am already learning how humans reproduce in school, just we don't watch pron video (I am sure you learn reproduction in school right ? Egg fuse with a Sperm = baby ). In short I can handle it .

I want to help Vizzed and I have a lot of free time, I want to see 12,000 more games added to the RGR so Vizzed members can enjoy and Vizzed itself will get more donations and maybe get a good placing in the top 100 for some website.


I know this will mean that my free time may become worktime but as I already said, it is for Vizzed .

There is something I would need to talk to about, that is when I will start working if I get the job, I want to start, START at the start of the week, meaning Mondays because if you were to give the job to me on a random day I may have troubles finishing the job on time.

I might not be able to do the job after NOV 19 because it is the school holidays and my Mum might sign me up for lessons and I won't have time to do the job, but I should be able to do it as there is nothing that I know of that will prevent me from doing the job before the 19 NOV, expect maybe homework, which will mean 15 hours of work per week (excluding weekends, I will work on weekends, just it is not counted) but you know that means I still can be able to do the job.

Sorry if that (the passage above) sounds like a threat, just wanted to "warn" you, I should be able to do the job next week (and the week after) though.

Just like the thread before, I have no problem taking this job, and was ready to start a week ago, lol. I am free...lots, and definitely have the time to do this. I don't really care if I end up running into an adult game or anything though, I'm maure enough to handle it.

I'd love to do a job like this, but I'm not willing to take the risk of running into an adult game. I can't take the risk of running into something that I'd regret seeing or doing. I appreciate the offer.

I'd be able to do it. I have no job, doesn't look like I'm going to get one soon, I'm not going to school right now, and I don't NEED to spend that much time with friends for just a week or two. I have no problems with 8-bit nudity, that's more hilarious than arousing if anything. I can commit myself to a project like this, it will give me something to do besides grinding MMOs or trying to earn badges on another gaming site. I won't fail or back out, and if I do I'm prepared to accept the consequences.

My questions: when will we be starting this and expecting to finish, and what sort of interface would we be using to edit the pages, rename the games, and also to view and test the games? Would we have to search for them in the RGR off a list of names you give us, or would they be in a clickable list dramatically speeding up the test time? To edit the pages, would we type into a textarea box like this, or would we need cyberduck or something? I'm just wondering how we'll be going about doing the editing and changing and testing, since that's where all the time really goes into.

I have the time, more than enough time actually, I just want to get a figure of if I'd finish in a week or not. If I did, I'd rather have 20,000 vizzed instead of $20. If I had a digital 20 bucks, I'd probably donate it to Vizzed anyways, so I'd rather get the Viz straight up.

I'm pretty trusted on here, so you can trust me to do the job correctly. I'm old enough to do the job (15), and I spend TONS of time on here. I love retro games; I personally have spent money out of my pocket to get my own systems like the NES and the Atari.

The "adult" thing is no problem; games like Custers Revenge are pretty mild.

I have *almost* 1,000 posts on here, so I'm dedicated to making this place a better place for all.

David, if you're still looking for another applicant, I know that I can do at least 143 a day (= 2002 in 14 days). The renaming is simple, if I have to think of it myself then it'll be predicated on what I gather of the game.

If I did 300 a day for a week I could easily do it in a week no problem, plus, if it only takes maybe 1 minute per game at maximum that is 5 hours a day for a week. I'm pretty sure I won't have to spend that much time on each one either so I could get them done with a 2 week span t my disposal.

I was also wondering when you plan to give the positions out because if I do get picked I would like to know when I should put some time aside and how long I have to wait.

I'd definitely be able to do the job, as I've been having a lot of free time lately, and love playing games in length.
I don't care if you strip away all of my trust points, it would be a fair punishment. Also, I don't care about 8bit nudity.
I can be trusted, and will be a competent worker if chosen.
Retro games, besides were the only reason I initially signed up to this website, and selecting me to do something I love would be perfect.
