When, I was 7, and just starting with the Pokemon games, I was going to a Daycare where the best trainer there was Luke, a snobby 13 year-old who prided himself with his LV.100 Blaziken. I too had Ruby, and I had a LV.100 Rayquaza, LV.95 Sceptile, and Lv.93 Groudon. He only trained Blaziken, and even though I knew my Pokemon were much better, all the older kids were sure I could never beat Luke. They thought I didn't know how to play; they thought Blaziken would toast me! "Does your Groudon know Fissure?" they would ask. "Of course not!" I would reply, as 1 Hit KO's are worthless because of their extremely low accuracy. "Well, you'll never win, then!" they would sneer back. I did battle Luke and I beat him easily. He was ticked, thought it was a fluke, so we battled again. I beat him over and over again. He could never hope to win against me! He and his friends began to respect me as the best at the Daycare, and I realized Luke wasn't mean, he was just very competitive. So I taught him to train his Pokemon more evenly, and he beat me a couple times. Now that my long story draws to an end, I wish to ask you, "Have you ever battled your friend, and felt so good about winning? What is your proudest Pokemon battle moment?"

When I was somewhere between 8-10 years old, I beat a level 100 Venesaur with my level 70-something Charizard at the YMCA after care. I took care of the rest of his Pokemon easily, as they were under-leveled. I was so hyped after doing that.

I remember the first time I creamed a kid after school one day. He was all legendaries I was all starters and I totally owned him! Then he complained that I cheated or we weren't the same level but we were both 100!

Well you see when i was younger me and my friends would have specialized tournaments. There were 2 kinds we could have. Our own, normal teams. In this i always won since i always make sure to have a balanced team in Levels and Types. Plus i pick amazing Pokemon.

However the second type was a really fun way. We would all decide on a level 50 tournament. Everyone trained 3 pokemon to level 50 and battled with them. Any items you wanted and any moves are allowed, cept for Action Replay or Game Shark of course. And that was amazing since we had to find decent but easy Pokemon to train for that week's tourny.

I remember having a one on one battle with this other kid at the YMCA. He had a level 100 Lugia and I had my level 100 Ampharos. I won.

A few years later, when it was the 3rd generation (my favourite probably), I faced this kid a who lived a few blocks away. We made a bet. Whoever lost, would have to give the other one a rare Yu-Gi-Oh card. I put my Walrein out to battle first against his Rayquaza. After that died, I think I beat him easily with my stronger Pokes. I thought I'd get some worthless card...to my surprise, he gave me his Yata-Garasu, a Secret Rare.

~Memories~
