I was personally disappointed of the Eragon movie after I first read the book. I'm saying that they missed so much (probably due to the movie's budget) but really had a good plot behind it. A little more guidance from the book and it would have turned out sooooooo much better than it was. Personally, the book turned into the movie and fitting completely, it probably would have been at least 3-5 hours if not more.

I agree the movie did not live up to the book at all. That is probably why they did not go ahead and make the sequels. The movie had a outline of what happened in the book and that was about it.

billythekidmonster : agreed there, it's to bad that Eldest and Brisingr haven't been turned into movies. If money wasn't limited or an obstacle, I bet many people could have made the movie better including myself, though it would be hard.

I know, it would have been better. Plus the razac aren't very scary, let alone bird/dragon baby things. And they were supposed to die in the third book, that just runes the rest of it.
