I am better and just got back from the hospital. They said that if I would not have seen a doctor I probably would not have made it.... My lungs hurt really bad and the IV stuff really itches. Hope it doesn't happen again. Thanks for your prayers!

Side Note: If you are wondering what I had it was a deadly case of bronchitis.

septembern : Thanks, I am yet to feel well though. I still have many tests yet to do because it may come back due to my lungs having internal scars and bleeding.

I am glad that you’re on the road to recovery… I don’t get sick that often… My problems usually stem from allergies… Sometimes I will start sneezing constantly and if you didn’t know any better you would swear there was something wrong with me not only because of how much I sneeze but also my eyes get really irritated and that takes a while to go away. I do try to avoid doctors at all costs though. The last time I had to go to the hospital for me was a couple of years ago when I came down with a bad case of sun poisoning. I was in pain obviously but it was so bad that I had yellowish water blisters all over my chest and arms.

This made it excruciating when ever I tried to move and virtually impossible to sleep. My stubbornness because I do not like going to doctors was at it’s highest point here. I went three days with no sleep and in constant pain before being irritated by my mother to go get checked out. I will admit that had I lived alone I probably would have remained stubborn and foolishly tried to wait for things to naturally pass. I will also admit that the primary reason I became convinced at the urging of my mother was simply because I was utterly exhausted and what’s worse than being exhausted and in utter pain is having both of those things plus a headache on top of it.

They ended up giving me a shot and, within an hour I was able to regain a little bit of motion when I moved but the pain didn’t really go away for a week though each day it did get a little better. It also helped that they gave me vicodin to help with the pain. I admit to having a phobia with doctors but I was grateful that at least I was able to sleep after getting a shot and getting some medicine.

I also have had some rough bouts of bronchitis so I know how miserable that can make you… Just try and drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest and you should be okay. It’s good that you didn’t wait until it was too extreme before you went and got checked out. Get well soon my friend.

Whoa! I've never had anything quite that serious, except an incident when I was about a month old when I suddenly stopped breathing. I'm okay now, but may have had some serious brain damage. Just kidding :-). I'm glad you feel better.
