Well, since David set up a script to close any threads that are 6 months since their last reply I figured it might be nice to instruct people on how to reply to the "older" threads that still exist.

While any thread that is currently open is free to be posted in there are some things that are done that are wrong when replying to these older threads.

1) Don't just agree with whatever was said in the thread previously.

2) Add something to the conversation. Too often people simply reply in a similar fashion to the more recent replies and add little to nothing to the thread. If you want to post in older threads then please add something. Ask a question or update the topic with a new piece of information.

That's all I have for now but I'm sure we can come up with more do's or don'ts to add to the list.

I'm not going to post in more than 20 threads (more or less) per forum until I run out of threads to post in in the other forums. I learned that lesson
