What is the first game that scared you? There was this one game I played called Space Quest IV for MS-DOS. When I found the cyborg, scared the crud out of me.

I think I was 10 or less, when I played tomb raider 2 for the first time. I started wondering at the first level. It was a very quiet rocky scenery, and I was very off guard, when I steped into the water(that triggers a tiger to come up to eat you). So I was attacked and I was very shocked. My 24 years old brother(he was silent beside me all this time) started to laugh with me and tease me. Then I decide that I should tamed my fears and master the game(I haven't become a master yet, but I've played TR games tons of times, after that incident,lol).

So I think that was the first time that I was scared. I guess it was mostly because I was so young.

I vividly remember my first time playing Monster Party. If you've played it then you remember what happened (I'll say it below). It scared the crap outta me.

If I remember the first one that scared me was star Fox 64. the actual game didn't scare me, the final boss did. I would literally cover the screen with a blanket and take come back later to beat it. Seems silly to be afraid of it now though.

Honestly, when I first started playing Metroid Other M and I had to investigate the Exam Center, I got to that one part with the cyborg zebesian, but it was making beeping noises. When I got to the door that it was hiding behind, the volume suddenly got louder and then the thing hits the ground and I jumped from my seat. I had to catch my breath before I continued playing.

personally the first game to ever scare the poo out of me was probably metroid fusion and it really sucks because i got to the part in the game (now remember, I was only 3) where you are told the x are gathering and that you only had a 10% chance of survival and when I left the room I bumped my game cartridge and the game glitched sending zombie researchers all over the screen and making a terrible screeching noise, and i dropped my game boy and ran. and I never found it again.

The original Zelda. As terrifying as a room full of blue Wizzrobes is (especially if it's dark), the earliest video game memory that I was terrified of was the room right before the boss of the first dungeon. Creepy hands coming out of the wall that drag you back to the entrance and the boss roaring in the next room... *shudders*.

Doom 3 would be the closest game.
