I'm not a big fan of speed runs, mainly because most I've seen are just the game fast forwarded. I did see one of Halo 2 once done in only 12 minutes. That was impressive.

I've seen portions of a Contra speedrun that left me impressed. The person beat the game in about 17:00 min and without losing a single life. That's very nice.
