The only animes I have ever watched is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Pokemon. TMNT was pretty cool, the first generation of Pokemon was awesome in the anime but now it's starting to go all downhill.

i definatley recommend elfen lied. Its quite short and seems ulmost unfinished but i think its pretty good. Depends how old you are though its pretty gory and a bit demented. If you dont mind gore and can keep track of wierd stroylines ( which you probably can due to deathnote) then you'll love elfen lied. Just for nostalgia i also recommend naruto if you hvent seen that and umm... maybe full metal alchemist? i havent seen it myself but ive heard alot of people raving on about it.

oh btw how long did it take you to finish death note im about halfway through and its getting a bit samey to me, anyway hope you find a good anime and definatley give elfen lied a go (oh nearly forgot theirs naked people at the beginning *Yay*)

If you want something actiony, I would recommend Angel Beats. It has a fantastic storyline, and it's written in a way that really makes you wonder. Also, it has guns and everyone loves guns. :VIf you like things that have a little more drama/romance, then I recommend Kanon or Clannad. Both are written by the same authors, Key, and have some of the most touching story lines I've ever seen. Not to mention you get so attached to the characters. But, looking at the way you've posted, I'm not sure if these are the best for you (try and go watch them anyways!).Or if you're looking for something lighthearted and funny, then I recommend Azumanga Daioh. Many people call it the grandmaster of slice of life anime, and for a good reason too. It has the most average, random, and funny moments you could experience in any anime. It's a good anime, full of action and it has a nice plot. And it's ideal for people, like me, who don't like anime with tons of episodes,lol. I admit though, that this one is too short (it's a 6 episodes OVA), but it's pretty cool I think it deserves to give it a chance. Besides it's so short, that even if you won't like it, you won't have "lost" much time of your life watching it,lol
