What do you think is the most well known song of all time in your opinion? I think for me its between Hey Jude from the Beatles, and Don't Stop Believing from Journey. Then again there are a lot of other songs that belong in that category like Yellow Submarine(The Beatles), Thriller(Michael Jackson), and We Are The Champions(Queen).

My immediate thought was Cotton Eye Joe because my entire class (around 400 people) all stopped and did the dance when this song came on at Senior Prom. It was great. Everyone knew exactly what the dance was.

I'm not sure it would count as the most well known song though because so many of the older people have no idea what it is and get confused when people start doing the dance.
