I don't know, the problem is they keep adding new female characters but none so far has been as good as misty. (maybe may) They should totally make her travel with ash again.

I think the original series went bad when they started to separate Ash, Misty, and Brock. I didn't watch the seasoon with that Tracy guy. He got on my nerves.

Then when Misty and Brock both left, the show went ka-put. True Brock came back, but that May chick was sooooo annoying. She even said on the first episode she was in that she didn't like Pokemon. What the heck is up with that? As for this Dawn chick, she's just irritating. Not to mention the creators found a way to get rid of all of Ash's old pokemon. I don't understand why.

I think what happened goes pretty much like this: the writhers for pokemon just started to use the script as their toilet paper. Question answered and fully explained in itself, or at least I do. In my mind, the problem with pokemon anime is that the last seasons are like a copy-paste from the 2 first seasons. I mean each episode is like that: the Ass and his friends(the list of his companions is the only thing that changes) are traveling seeking new adventures, fights, and pokemons(thank God at least the list of pokemons changes every other episode), but during their adventures team rocket is always on their way...blah blah.
I was really excited for the 2 first seasons, but now I'm just disappointed with pokemon anime series

loved watching the original couple seasons, I watched through Johto seasons, then I dropped out half way through Hoenn seasons. I watched the first couple episodes from Best Wishes where they go through Isshu, but I kinda liked them, they seemed to be fresh and new, even after two episodes. I also saw that they have a couple new people working on the Anime of Pokemon now, so I will continue to watch the newest season to see how well it goes.

Yeah, I was a sucker for the Pokemon Anime. I actually liked the 3rd Gen anime, but it only took 1 episode of the 4th Gen anime to make me stop watching it. Hopefully they can just get it tight for once and change not only the anime, but the games up a bit to make it more interesting.
