I agree with KlawedFlaw, I would have designed Action 52, made it a bit better, so that it actually has 52 games instead of 5 games that make the console crash, and 20 space shooters. I would have made it worth the 200 bucks that it was worth. Anyways, I'll move this to the Video Games forum.

Also, some of these "horrible" 3D Sonic games weren't even made by Sonic Team. Really, Sonic is an environmental character. If you put him in a place that isn't meant for speed and expect speed, you get crap. Shadow the Hedgehog was hardly a bad game. It only is bad in the way people say Final Fantasy 8 is bad, it was different from the rest. And, really, they were working with Shadow, not Sonic. Shadow fitted the gritty tone. It wasn't a great jump, but it wasn't bad, either. It was kinda a Jak and Daxter situation. You either were playing with the idea that it was made to be a game that it wasn't, or you liked it. Jak 2 wasn't an outcry change, but many people probably weren't expecting it. Also, about the swearing, wasn't there some in the Sonic Adventure games? I mean, the whole "Damn it" a million times thing was stupid, but the Adventure games had instances of language in some songs.

KlawedFlaw : really not all sonic games were made by the sonic team? well i kinda liked shadow the hedgehog i twas just different like you said. I wasnt supposed to be a sonic game. And latley they have tried to make sonic to much of a platformer instead of a speed runners heaven but still some of the games are really good. And with the cussing i have heard it before and it really doesnt fit the sonic happy mood they should cut it out. -------------------- |
