I never really wondered about it, but after over a decade of Pokemon's existence the voice of my favorite (and the best :yup: ) Smash Bros. character is out of the shadows. The person seems to have a weird voice to begin with.

Most voice actors that voice children or high pitch voices are women. Like in The Simpsons the voices of Bart, Nelson, Ralph are done by one female, Nancy Cartwright. Its pretty common. I knew the actor for Pikachu was a girl, I just didn't know that was really the exact voice. It just goes to show it isn't always who you expect (To this day I refuse to believe the voice actor for Bart Simpson is a girl as well)
