The sale of the upcoming "Medal Of Honor" game has recently been banned on all military bases in the US. Due to the fact that you can play as a member of the taliban on multiplayer and kill US troops. Soldiers can still buy the game they just will not be able to buy it on base. So what are your feelings?

US Military are hypocrites oh so its ok to kill others but not you. Yea whatever, get real its a game and its pathetic they would take such offense from a video game and ban it.

I would buy it just to kill US troops more challenging that way without all the GOD MODE hacks the USA has.

It's always more fun to play the bad guy whether it be a NAZI or a JAPANESE, it's good they have put taliban into the game as playable characters because that opens a whole new viewpoint of the game and makes it more fun and interesting. Instead of attacking you would be defending.

And I just saw some footage its so funny you see jets and tanks while the taliban have nothing buy guns that would definitely make the game more challenging and fun. Cheap USA hackors in their god mode its sad they have to cheat like that.

I kinda think that they shouldnt take it off base but at the same time they should. The same thing happens in Modern Warefare 2 with the airport scene, they should just not allow it.

As a former Marine, shooting U.S. troops even in a game would be weird for me. I wouldn't support it being sold on U.S. bases, myself. It'd almost be like an endorsement. It'll be readily available off-base. That should be enough.

I think ABSOLUTELY! This game would not contribute to an uplifting attitude for our troops, even if they didn't use the multiplayer feature (where you can play as the Taliban). Just having the ability to play as people who would like to kill you if possible would be a distraction to some, and even a temptation to some. I think it was a good idea to ban it.

Maybe it IS just a game. But, it's a little more than that, because it's a VERY popular franchise, and it will be a widespread sale.

If it was a dud, and no one was buying, I doubt the military would give two craps. Everyone's gonna have their own opinion on this, so it's probably wiser to just agree that we disagree.
