Ok here's the situation. I've been saving up for a while now and recently sold some old games I don't ever play to a game store for in store credit. Currently, I have enough money to get a Nintendo DSi or I could continue saving several months to get an XBox 360. I don't prefer either right now but I'm an impatient person so I may be leaning towards DSi. I just need some advice. If you would suggest which one I get and explain why, I would feel better about whatever choice I make. Thanks!

Totally get the Xbox cause it has better graphics and a bunch of other things that a ds doesn't have. Plus if u don't have a wii, than u can't really do a lot of things on the dsi. -------------------- |

Xbox, no doubt. It has many games the DS doesn't have, an excellent online service, plenty of exclusives, etc..
Or, you could save up for a 3DS. Huzzah!

I would choose DS seeing as how im a fanboy and such but the xbox is good and all. but I don't like how I have to pay for Xbox live but then again its worth every penny.

Go with an Xbox 360 for sure. In my honest opinion, it's the best console on the market right now with the best selection of games and the best lineup (the cheaper model is probably the same price as a DSi). Plus if you get Halo Reach, you can game with me this Fall/Winter 
Also worth pointing out is the Nintendo 3DS comes out next year, pointless to buy a DSi when you'll want to get that when it comes out (since it'll easily be the greatest handheld ever made).

I agree with David and Rasen, DO NOT buy a DS right now with the new model coming out in a year. Waste of money. Everyone seems to really love the Xbox, personally I don't care for it that much, but then again I don't care for my PS3 either. Console games stopped being good in my eyes after PS2. Sure, there's some fun ones now and then, but nothing as gripping and innovative like Xenosaga or as memorable as FF7. I'd go with the Xbox though, unless you like going outside now and then LOL |

Just buy the Xbox 360 If you want to play Xbox exclusives online with better graphics. If you want a dsi, then wait for the 3DS to come out. The 3DS will have better games, will be backwards compatible to the DS, and be able to process higher quality games.

Well, obviously Xbox 360, because of the games and graphics. I think you should wait till November to buy a new Xbox 360 with Kinect.
