A lot of Newbies don't ever read their Private Messages, read announcements or even read their Notifications, possibly because they don't know where to find it or just don't think to do it. Well for all newbies, the icon we're familiar with is now a blinker . Hopefully this will increase the amount of people who check these pages which would also increase overall posting since people who introduce themselves will be more likely to see that their thread get a reply (because there's a lot that don't ever reply to their own newbie thread).

Not a very big update but that's what this forum is for, small updates that don't deserve an announcement and also a good way for me to keep track of what I've done.

If newbies aren't paying any attention than I think this is a good idea. Although I don't know if I find that annoying if I had the blinker sign. I'd kind of prefer it that way so I notice things faster, but I already notice when I get something new.
