Hah, I always wanted to give it a try, but we don't have good waves up here unless there is a storm and most of those happen in the winter... so yeah.. really vary few chances to surf around here.. however, the snow boarding around here is epic.

Yes I have and thoroughly enjoy it I live near surf city USA "Huntington Beach" which generally gets 4-6 foot waves which are the biggest I've surfed. I don't know how good I might be on any bigger than 6 foot.

funny thing is I live about 10 mins from the beach and I don't go at all. I can't swim. I never tried surfing either. I'd probably end up drowning or something stupid.

I don't know how I missed this before.  I live in hawaii and I ever do is surf when I'm not working.  I surf as many days as possible.  I have a few different boards depending on the waves and which beach I go to.  It's my passion and my thing.
