I've spent the past week making the following updates:


New Profiles
Spent the past few days completely remaking the profile pages from the ground up. You can see an example here:

Please note that the big box ad is only temporary until I replace it with something else (a future feature).

What's new about the profiles:
-Profiles are a lot smaller, about half the size they were before
-Easier to navigate
-Quicker to load (a big profile like mine wont be to much faster but a newbies profile will be a LOT faster)
-Easier to browse the games you have
-SNES Games are displayed nicely (hope to do that with the rest soon)
-You can now see who has added you as a friend
-Your friends list is more organized
-You can now see how many guests you referred
-You can view up to 100 comments you've received on your profile
-You can quickly reply to comments
-Sent Private Message link is easier to find
-You can now see all your most recent comments you've made on games
-You can now see all your most recent reviews you've made on games
-You can now see all your most recent screenshots you've taken on games
-Bio at bottom of page so that people can have really big bios without it interfering with the rest of their profile
-If you click a username in the RGR, it takes you to the users game profile but if you click a username anywhere else on the site, it takes you to their main profile



You can now Backup your Save Files, make copies and also delete them
Ever wanted more than 1 save file? Ever wanted to make a backup in case something happened to your save file? Ever wanted to delete your safe file for any reasons? Well now you can

Games Cost Viz Again
I know I said I'd wait until September 1st but I decided to end the offer early and in return, the games will be half the regular Viz price until September 1st. This probably is better for some people because you'll still own the games after September 1st, while having them 0 Viz means you wouldn't. Plus I've had a lot of people request me to do this.

I sort of like the new profiles, though it will take some getting used to.

However, I can't make profile comments right now. It might just be me, but I've tried several times to comment on Crono's profile, and it doesn't show up.

I noticed the same thing.... I don't see any error or anything... it just doesn't work.

Commenting on profiles works again. I noticed that sending Viz didn't work either, that's fixed.

*Gets flash back of a moment where I "lost" my save-state due to me pressing F4 at the wrong time, contacting Darkhyren, he told me about the new save state feature and it is finally here *

I don't think I like the new profiles, but I love the new game system.

Davideo7 : I did not know you had Mother 3 for RGR, YAY FOR ANOTHER PLAYER . Yeah, discount is better then freebie for the RGR (in a way).

I still don't quite get the new save state feature, but no worries, I will get it sooner or later.

Didowe : I have no problems with people not liking the new profiles as much but overall it's just more logical. Could you please tell me what you don't like?

Sweet, I now like the updates that much more.

I love the new style of the profiles. It's slimmer, and it's nicer. I also like the idea of having more than one save file, so then the shared account between my sister and my brother can have more memory.

Profiles are much better then before all the elements on the page now feel like they are in actual sections instead of all fused into one area. Makes it easier to find stuff and having all the important stuff at the top of page instead of bottom makes it even better.

Though I would probably fix the stats and equipment section up a bit and try to make them feel more apart of the page.

Yeah as JigSaw said, the important stuff is at the top which saves most people a lot of time when searching for that info.

JigSaw : I actually slapped those on there at the last moment because I forgot about them lol. Not sure what I'll do about them or how to make them fit in but they'll have to stay like that until I finish the Item Shop since I'll have to be re-doing them anyway.

Yea and when you do update that section I can see a battle stats section fitting in well there which would show battle stats like: battles won, battles lost, 1 hit kills, etc...

I am not sure why this is in general chat its more news then anything so I will move it to the news section. If not I guess move it back to general

JigSaw : This can't go into News forum because newbies can't view this forum but newbies are still going to want to see this thread since I made an announcement linking to it. That forum is meant for smaller updates, big updates like this go into General Chat.

I might actually make a 3rd page for battle stats, items and all that stuff.

Oh... wasn't sure oh well.

Apparently I think some newbies might be confused with the Viz transfer on peoples profiles. I think they try and post a comment but send Viz in the process when they don't mean to. Might need erase the word comment cause I'm pretty sure lots of newbies are mistaking that with profile comments.

JigSaw : Yeah. Another thing I can do is separate them enough, move the Viz transfer further down so they see the comments first.

The new Profile layout is AWESOME! Besides that, games costing Viz really isn't to bad.

Videogamegod : The 0 Viz was just a temporary thing, my way of apologizing for the site being down for 3 days last month. Bandwidth was just getting costly from letting everyone play as many games as they want. Viz is pretty easy to earn though and I'll offer more ways to earn it.
