I vote Ninjask for a few reasons. One, is that the Speed Boost ability can really be useful, especially with Baton Pass or giving him good moveset along with Swords Dance. Second, for all you people saying its hard to faint Shedinja, stop and think to the many many weaknesses it has? Dark, Ghost, Fire, Rock, and Flying. Thats 5 types. Flying and Dark moves are common, what with so many bird pokemon in the early game, and Dark is too now with a bunch of Pokemon learning Bite or some other attack. As for Ghost, Fire and Rock, most Pokemon in a team usually have at least one of those typings in their moveset. So yea its a wonderful ability and all, but it still is easy to take down. And 95% of people are almost guaranteed a Flying move if they use Fly. So yea Ninjask is much better.

I went with Ninjask for the speed boost ability. Baton passing that and some swords dances on a good baton pass team is just so fun. But it was very hard to choose. Seeing mtgxerxes on youtube use his Shedinja is pretty awesome. But since my favorite pokemon to use, Marowak needs some speed boosts baton passed to him, I have to give my vote to Ninjask.

I say Shedinja because if used right it can be a pain in the a** for your opponent. It may have more weaknesses than most but that's because it can be cleverly used to aggravate your friends who think it sucks.

I say that Ninjask is better. Not only is it's speed better, along with an added speed boost ability, but you can teach it moves that are much more valuable in a pokemon team, such as batton pass for a batton pass team, while Shedinja is much more useless in a battle.

The only good thing about Shedinja is it's Wonderguard ability, which, if you have a move of any of the types that defeats it, it's no match. Shedinja is also the only pokemon who can die in one turn from the weather.

...So, NINJASK FOR THE WIN!

Shedinja is definitely better, if you know how to use it properly. Ninjask I found has fantastic stats, but its learnset is horrible, and its ability is useless--pretty much just raising the ridiculously high speed stat it already has. Same goes for Sword Dance, and the only other real use for it is raising all those stats and then Baton Passing to carry them over to someone else. Personally, if I'm using a Pokémon in battle, I like to stay with that Pokémon until it faints unless it has a distinct type disadvantage. How else is it going to gain experience?

Shedinja, though, is great. Once you know how to use it right, it's practically invincible. You would be surprised just how many Pokémon don't know any Rock, Flying, Fire, Ghost, or Dark type moves. And once you know which Pokémon do know those moves, they're easy to avoid. Status conditions aren't really an issue, because only two of them actually harm Shedinja and they don't tend to come up that often anyway. If you think about it, the only way to inflict a status condition on it is to use a purely status changing move, like Stun Spore or Poison Powder (or, say, Will-O-Wisp, if you want a Burn example), because moves that cause damage and have status changes as a side effect won't harm Shedinja at all. (Oh, and Leech Seed, which is a pain, but again, doesn't come up that often.)

As for the weather conditions--which in my opinion shouldn't actually harm Shedinja at all, but that's beside the point--well, don't use Shedinja during those conditions. Simple. The only time it's really a problem is in the desert, and the very occasional times a foe uses Sandstorm or Hail.

The biggest problem I had with Shedinja was whenever someone used Confuse Ray or Supersonic on it. I'd have to say that's the only time I really considered for a brief moment ditching Shedinja because just it wouldn't stop knocking itself out. But its Attack stat is off the charts, and its Speed is above average, so there's really no danger of it being harmed by a low level Pokémon even though it only has 1 HP. Just take out the foe before it can take out you.

So many people will try to raise a Shedinja and give up on it almost immediately after it gets KO'd because the Trainer didn't know how to use it properly. I've had mine for the entire game in Emerald and it's been absolutely fantastic. Saved my *** more times than I can count. Don't get frustrated with it because of its quirks--just learn how to use them to your advantage.

(And as a side note--I actually think it looks much cooler than Ninjask. :3)

I like Shedinja personally. Only having 1 HP is kinda lame, but at least that means you know exactly what to do with your EV's, and that ability is just plain AWESOME when used strategically. It's all about the strategy.

I want to say both, because on one hand Shedinja is a great pokemon but only if you do have that good strategy, otherwise I'll stick to Ninjask which is what I would end up using out of the two.

I believe Shedinja is awesomer because of it's effect: only supereffective moves hurt it. And if you look at its Pokedex description, it says that whoever looks into its back is killed on the spot!

I say Ninjask. Although the fact that Shendinja only gets killed by super effective moves is cool, Shendinja has five weaknesses. Kinda ruins it.

Ninjask has Speed Boost, a very useful ability, and a lot of moves that can do some real damage.
